Fiat Lux!

The Valley of Waco for the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite is pleased to (finally!) announce  the launch of our new website. Over the next few weeks we will be adding content and cleaning things up, but as we progress will endeavor to keep events and news updated, as well as add content, such as galleries of recent events. As with any information outlet, the presentation is constantly changing and evolving. Any feedback you have will be greatly appreciated.

It is the goal of the Internet Committee to integrate our information flow, so that updates to the website are also posted on our Facebook page and Twitter feed, as well as emailed or sent via SMS to those who sign up for it.

Several dedicated brothers have been very key in bringing this project to fruition. Kevin Wilbourn, 32°, was instrumental in hosting and developing the first prototypes, as well as in proofing and editing. Geoffrey Tahuahua, 32°, of the Valley of Austin, spent many hours in designing our new layout.  George Carpenter, 32°, did the final edits and tweaks, and got us over the final hurdles. All of these brothers are working on this project pro bono. Our Valley owes you brothers a great debt of gratitude.

Website and social media maintenance takes time and effort, and we need your help! If you are interested in serving on the Waco Scottish Rite Internet Committee, please email us at

Finally, I would like to sincerely thank the leadership and staff of the Waco Scottish Rite Bodies, for their patience, for their confidence in us, and for their assistance: Greg McEwen, 33° IGH, Valley Chairman; Mike Waldrop, 32° KCCH, General Secretary; Claude Ervin, 33° IGH, Chairman Emeritus; Brenda Haverkamp, Office Manager; Brenda Light, Building and Events Manager; Jason Coffelt, 32°, office staff; Stan Parker, 32° KCCH; and Sam Moody, Librarian and Curator.  It is very fulfilling to be a part of such a great team of dedicated individuals.

Sincerely and fraternally,

Casey D. Stanislaw, 32°
Internet Committee Chairman, Education Committee Chairman
